The fear of low back pain slows more people down from doing the activities they love than any other injury out there. Have you ever gotten that little funky feeling down there, and start panicking about what you may have done to set it off?
You run everything through your mind from the way you were sitting, to objects you picked up, to did you turn funny? Or is it too much stress?
That ends now. I’m going to share three exercises that’ll start making all those terrible low back worries go away.
WHAT CAUSES LOW BACK PAIN
The number one reason low back pain occurs is because the vertebrates are unable to move properly. There are 26 of them and each has to be able to move independently of the others, otherwise certain ones will have to do extra work to pick up the slack of the guys not carrying their weight. This is when things start to go south.
HOW TO RELIEVE LOW BACK PAIN
However, by constantly moving these vertebrates one at a time in a systematic way, quality movement will return and lower back issues will go away.
I love the exercises I’m about to show you because they’re super simple to do but really effective. You’ll see what I mean here shortly.
A FEW TIPS BEFORE YOU START
Just a few pointers to think about as you do these exercises…
First, I want you to really focus on moving slowly and feel what’s going on with your body. If you've dealt with low back pain for a while, you’re going feel disconnected down there. It’s ok, you’re just working that brain joint connection but the more you do it, the stronger that connection will get.
Lastly, do not cause any pain or pinching while doing these. Less is best, so take your time and slowly get those little guys moving.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED
The only equipment you’ll need is a chair or foam roller to balance on.
You can perform each of these movements a couple times per day.
Alright, you ready? Hit “play” and let’s get this party started!
